Mid Winter
Welcome to the season of peace and quiet. Everything’s frozen and resting. Look around you; how can you enjoy this? Can you touch the snow? Can you take an ice-cold hike and savor a hot cup of tea afterward?
Nature teaches us to rest during this season. No, you don’t have to start with your new plans yet. You don’t have to force yourself to be active. This is the season of silence. Of waiting.
It’s normal to sleep more. It’s normal to eat more. It’s normal to turn inward. Don’t resist it!
To help you, here’s a short Winter Meditation. Make yourself comfortable. Set an intention or just be open to what comes.
