What kindness is not

It is hard to find a satisfying, all-encompassing definition of Kindness. Therefore, this page lists what Kindness is not:

• A lack of perspective;
• Assuming someone else’s situation, without asking first;
• Entering the other’s personal space without permission;
• Not listening;
• Occupying more space than you need;
• Acting like the world revolves around you;
• Blaming the other for what you did, but don’t want to admit;
• Not taking “no” for an answer;
• Getting angry at someone who sets boundaries, because they involve you having to step back;

This list is continuously evolving.
